At the airport

We're having lunch at SFO with some friends. Our flight leaves in about an hour -- first to LA, then Auckland. I have brought the following entertainments for our trip:

• Several audio recordings of This American Life episodes - on the iPod

• Dave Eggers' A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius
  
• Jonathan Franzen's The Corrections
  
• ACBL's Learn to Play Bridge software on my laptop
  
• SCRABBLE (tm) game on my Handspring Treo (last resort)
  
• Headphones for listening to in-flight audio
  
• A recent issue of Harper's
  

This morning I went running with friends, had pancakes at Crepes on Cole, finished packing, got a massage. We had so much cr*p to take to the airport that we had to recruit two drivers -- Ariel's friend Jill and sister Alix. Thanks for the help, guys!
